Getting to share the awe-inspiring, pinch-yourself-at-least-twice-because-the-beauty-is-otherworldly places we ski and ride with our guests is a privilege of the highest order.

For YouTuber and big-time skier Lucas Catania, the chance to embark on a heli-skiing adventure with his dad (Papa Joe!) to CMH Bugaboos, deep in one of British Columbia’s most iconic mountain ranges, was the dream of dreams.

In his latest vlog series, Lucas and Papa Joe arc turns through untouched powder, perfectly-spaced trees, all beneath the watchful eyes of the Bugaboos’ granite spires.

Though Lucas has joined us at CMH Purcell for day heli-skiing before, this was his first extended stay at a CMH lodge. And this was Papa Joe’s very first time experiencing the magic of heli-skiing.

Brought together by a love of mountains and the warm embrace of like-minded souls at CMH Bugaboos, this is a whole new level of father-son bonding.

If you could bring one person heli-skiing, who would it be? Tell us in the comments, below.
